The antenatal clinic is run in collaboration with the Community Midwives, who work at the surgery one day a week.
You will be invited to attend the surgery for a post natal examination 6 weeks post delivery. You will also be asked to bring your baby who will receive their 6 week check. These are carried out by the doctor.
The first baby immunisations are due at the age of 8 weeks (after the 6 week check has been done).
For more information about the ages that vaccines should be given, and the diseases they protect against ask your practice nurse or health visitor or visit the NHS Immunisation website.
